How to find the Rosengarten Congress Center

The Rosengarten Congress Centre is situated in the heart of Mannheim and is ideally connected to the most important transport routes.

Environmentally-friendly travel

By car

From the motorway A5, driving in from Frankfurt or Karlsruhe, you can reach Rosengarten Mannheim as follows:

At the motorway junction Heidelberg, take the exit in direction toward Mannheim and follow motorway 656. After arriving at Mannheim you pass the Planetarium. At the end of “Augustaanlage”, you reach “Friedrichsplatz” with Mannheim’s landmark – the “Wasserturm” (water tower). There, the m:con Congress Center Rosengarten is situated. Parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the Rosengarten, in the car park “CC Rosengarten” below the water tower. From there, you can directly access Rosengarten Mannheim.

From the motorway A6, driving in from Stuttgart or Saarbrucken, you can reach Rosengarten Mannheim as follows:

Important note

Due to its central location within the inner city, the m:con Congress Center Rosengarten has been situated within Mannheim’s low-emission zone since 1 March 2008. Thus, driving to the Rosengarten is only allowed, if your car has a low-emission sticker. Low-emission stickers are available at the car registration office, with TÜV, DEKRA, and in certified car repair shops.

 

Rosengarten underground car park / parking prices

Adequate parking can be found in the Parkhaus Rosengarten Deck A and B as well as the Parkdeck under the Dorint Congress Hotel Mannheim.

By rail, suburban train (S-Bahn), bus

Deutsche Bahn

Mannheim is an important traffic node in the train network of the Deutschen Bahn. Mannheim provides direct ICE connections to Basle, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Frankfurt Airport, Freiburg, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich, Paris, Stuttgart, and to many other cities.

From the train station, you can walk to the Rosengarten within 5 minutes (toward the city centre).

  • Line 5, OEG direction “Viernheim-Weinheim”, stop “Rosengarten”

The following bus lines lead to the Rosengarten:

  • Line 60, direction “Mannheim, Lanzvilla”, stop “Wasserturm”
  • Line 63, direction “Lindenhof, Pfalzplatz”, stop “Wasserturm”
  • Line 64, direction “Käfertal, OEG station”, stop “Wasserturm”

By plane

From Frankfurt Airport you can take the ICE (take train station: Flughafen Fernbahnhof) directly to Mannheim central station (about 30 minutes).

Fly with Rhein-Neckar Air daily non-stop from Mannheim to Berlin or from Mannheim to Hamburg. Short distances, free parking in Mannheim and expeditious procedures at check-in allows you the fastest way to Berlin and back.
